Raise your hand if you've ever had to sit through a Power Point presentation.

Wait.  What I wanted to say is, raise your hand if you've ever had to sit through a painfully boring PowerPoint presentation.

A PowerPoint presentation can be improved greatly by use of a presentation theme and the style that you might use to present information (bullet points people.  Bullet points).

However, depending on the topic and setting, you might also make use of a video clip to express a point or concept.

And the quickest way to make sure your video will play properly is to embed it into your presentation, and therefore the file.

It is very simple to do this!  You click on Insert, and choose Video and then Online Video.

insert video

This will pop up a box that will allow you to put the URL of the video you are using (such as a YouTube clip).

url

You input the URL, and then click Insert.  Then the video is embedded.  Which is nice because once embedded, if you are on the slide and click to move forward, it will start the video for you.

So it's a simple trick, but it may just make your presentations a little bit better!!
